Steel Seal™
by ASKO
Most front-loading washing machines use a rubber door seal. It is a familiar detail, so familiar that few people think about what it collects over time.
ASKO saw a detail worth rethinking.

A washing machine

should stay clean too.
Steel Seal™ in Action

The ASKO
Difference
ASKO did not treat the washer door as a standard detail.
With Steel Seal™, the traditional rubber bellow is removed to create a cleaner, more open entry to the drum. It is a small change in form, but one that changes how the machine supports hygiene, access and daily garment care.

Where clean
laundry begins
Steel Seal™ Washer Opening
Every load passes through the same point: the washer opening. Steel Seal™ gives this area a cleaner, more direct construction, so the part used most often is considered as carefully as the wash inside.

Fewer places for
residue to collect
Bellow-Free Construction
By removing the traditional rubber bellow around the washer opening, Steel Seal™ reduces areas where moisture, lint, dirt and detergent residue can sit unseen after washing.

Cleaner care,
designed into daily use
Hygiene by Design
Steel Seal™ supports a cleaner laundry routine through the way the machine is built, making hygiene part of everyday washing rather than an extra step.
