With Steel Seal™, the traditional rubber bellow is removed to create a cleaner, more open entry to the drum. It is a small change in form, but one that changes how the machine supports hygiene, access and daily garment care.

Steel Seal™ Washer Opening
Every load passes through the same point, the washer opening. Steel Seal™ gives this area a cleaner, more direct construction, so the part used most often is considered as carefully as the wash inside.
The result is a more hygienic washer by design. Independent testing showed that ASKO washing machines with Steel Seal™ have up to 95% less microbiological growth* than washing machines with a traditional rubber door seal.
