The sanitised water is then circulated throughout the load, allowing the hygiene treatment to reach wherever the rinse water goes.

Most dishwashers rely on heat to support hygiene. UV Cleanse™ adds UV treatment to the final rinse, working together with heat to reduce bacteria, fungi and viruses beyond what a conventional wash cycle is designed to achieve.
When combined with Intensive or Hygiene programmes, UV Cleanse™ achieves up to 99.99999% elimination of bacteria, fungi and viruses.*

UV-C Water Treatment
Rather than relying on UV light shining directly across the dishwasher interior, ASKO uses UV-C to treat the water during the final rinse.
The UV-treated water then circulates throughout the load, reaching around baskets, racks and closely loaded dishes, helping reduce the blind spots that direct UV light can leave behind.

UV Cleanse™ with Selected Wash Programmes
UV Cleanse™ is a mode, so it can be added to compatible wash programmes depending on the load and level of hygiene you want.
Choose it with Intensive or Hygiene for maximum hygiene performance, or even with ECO when you want the added benefit of UV treatment with a lower-temperature programme.
